On the manufacturing method of an aluminum separator for fuel cell which is inserted between unit cells when constituting the fuel cell by laminating a plurality of unit cells, a separator base material made of aluminum or aluminum alloy is molded, an etching treatment is applied to the separator base material, an lead substitution process is applied to the separator base material by using lithium-lead immersion bath containing lithium hydroxide and lead oxide as main component after acid-cleaning, and a noble metal plating film is formed on the surface of the separator base material after the lead substitution process.
