Abstract:
To provide a manufacturing method of an aluminum wheel having high corrosion resistance and high adhesiveness to a coating film; and the aluminum wheel.
The manufacturing method of the aluminum wheel comprises a release agent removing process removing a release agent from the surface of the aluminum wheel made by molding an aluminum base material or an aluminum alloy base material with a physical means and/or chemical means, and a pickling process cleaning with an acid solution containing 0.5 g/L to 10 g/L metal ions and 10 g/L to 100 g/L nitric acid. The metal ions in the pickling process includes at least one kind of metal ions selected from a group consisting of Fe3+ion, Ni2+ ion, Co2+ ion, Mo6+ ion, and Ce4+ ion.
