To provide a manufacturing method and apparatus for an electro-optical device, and a manufacturing method and apparatus for an electronic apparatus, wherein its IC chip and its electronic components are mounted efficiently on it within a short time.
In the manufacturing apparatus for the electro-optical device, first and second light sources 10a, 10b for emitting respectively different color tones or different wavelengths from each other are provided. Also, there is provided a switching means 15 for projecting a light on the positioning mark of an IC chip 20 or a liquid crystal panel 21, in switching from between the first and second light sources 10a, 10b. Further, in the case of the image recognition of the positioning marks, every time the irradiated objects (the IC chip 20 and the liquid crystal panel 21) are altered, the light, capable of properly recognizing the image of each positioning mark, is irradiated on it in switching between the light sources 10a, 10b.
