Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for manufacturing sanitary tissue paper by suppressing labor and cost, in the sanitary tissue paper coated with liquid chemical and embossed in which the cut paper and corruption of an embossed portion in the embossing are hard to be caused, and wiping properties and bulkiness are superior.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of sanitary tissue paper with liquid chemical coated thereon includes: a chemical supply step of supplying the liquid chemical in a recess of an embossing roll 2 with respect to the embossing roll 2 having the tip vicinity of a protrusion coated with materials of properties resisting the liquid chemical; a liquid chemical coating amount adjusting step of adjusting the amount of the liquid chemical supplied to the embossing roll 2 after the chemical supply step; and an embossing step of coating the liquid chemical in a place other than the embossed part of the base paper by passing the base paper of the sanitary tissue paper between the embossing roll 2 and an elastic roll 3, and subjecting it to the embossing.
