Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assembly camshaft capable of simplifying a manufacturing process and suppressing manufacturing costs by fixing a cam lobe to a shaft with a simple constitution.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a camshaft 101 by fixing a cam lobe 13 to a shaft 102 by fitting a fixing portion 102c of the hollow shaft 102 to a fixing hole 13h formed at a side of a cam base 13b of the cam lobe 13, includes an expanding process for inserting a pin 40 to a pin hole 13p to expand the fixing hole 13h, an insertion process for inserting the fixing portion 102c to the expanded fixing hole 13h, and a reduction process for fixing the fixing portion 102c to the fixing hole 13h by reducing the fixing hole 13h by pulling out the pin 40 from the pin hole 13p.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
