Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a battery cell having a separator which has more excellent strength than the strength of conventional microporous film separator.
SOLUTION: The battery cell having a positive electrode sheet, a negative electrode sheet, and a separator sheet lying between the above, is manufactured by (a) preparing a roll of a cross layer separator, having the first and the second layers of a uniaxially oriented microporous film of which the direction of uniaxial orientation of the first film and the second film are biased from each other; (b) forming an inner composite battery cell structure by laying the cross layer separator between continuously extended positive electrode sheet and negative electrode sheet; (c) winding or folding the inner composite battery cell structure; and (d) mounting the wound or folded inner battery cell complex structure to the battery cell housing of outside.
