Abstract:
To provide a method of manufacturing a bearing body of a slide bearing constituent body at a slight cost, and to provide the bearing body of the slide bearing constituent body capable of being manufactured at the slight cost.SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing a housing-side bearing body or a rotor-side bearing body of a slide bearing constituent body to support a rotating shaft of a rotor in a stationary housing, includes the steps of preparing a substrate of the bearing body, processing a surface of the substrate, that is, forming a plurality of grooves intersecting with each other, and forming a plurality of rod-shaped projections between the grooves intersecting with each other, correcting the projections while forming a determined pattern composed of an undercut-like recessed portion or a geometric portion, and disposing a slide bearing material on a surface having the corrected projections while infiltrating the same into the undercut-like recessed portion or the geometric portion, or filling the undercut-like recessed portion or the geometric portion therewith.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
