Abstract:
To provide a method for safely manufacturing a bonded magnet having heat resistance at a temperature of 150 to 180°C required in applications such as a motor for an automobile.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a bonded magnet includes: a bonded magnet material manufacturing step for manufacturing a bonded magnet material 13 by mixing magnet powder 11 and an aggregate of cellulose nanofibers (a CNF - water mixture) containing water, or a magnet powder 11, an aggregate 121 of a cellulose nanofiber, and water 122; a preform manufacturing step for manufacturing a preform 15 by housing the bonded magnet material in a cavity of a mold (a mold 141) and applying first pressure to the bonded magnet material 13 by a piston 142 having a gap 143 of a predetermined size relative to an inner surface of the cavity; a relaxing step of releasing application of the first pressure and leaving it for a predetermined time; and a mold manufacturing step for manufacturing the mold by applying second pressure equal to or higher than the first pressure to the preform 15 by the piston 142 after the relaxing step.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
