Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a bulb filament capable of obtaining a desired optical performance by winding a winding wire of which the diameter is smaller than that of a core wire, around the core wire in predetermined pitches over a full length of a filament configured by winding a filament wire for which the winding wire is wound in the predetermined pitches around the core wire, in predetermined pitches.SOLUTION: A filament 1 comprising a coil part 1a which is wound in predetermined pitches just predetermined times and leg parts 1b linearly extending from both ends of the coil part 1a consists of a filament wire 4 for which a winding wire 3 is wound in predetermined pitches around a core wire 2. A welded part 5 is formed by irradiating both ends of each of the leg parts 1b of the filament 1 with laser lights and heating and welding the core wire 2 and the winding wire 3 and in the vicinity of a distal end side of the welded part 5, the core wire 2 and the winding wire 3 are then simultaneously and collectively cut, thereby removing an unnecessary portion closer to the distal end than the welded part 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
