Abstract:
To provide a manufacturing method of a butt weld joint and an apparatus thereof, enabling shortening of construction periods in plant construction by simplifying a manufacturing process of a connection between pipe segments of a plastic pipe for reducing manufacturing and implementation steps.SOLUTION: Each pipe segment is held with holding means 14, 15, a pipe end cross section of the pipe segment is machined with cooperation of tool means 11 for forming a welding contact face. The tool means 11 is arranged in a static state on a separation face for machining the welding contact face. Separation cutting for forming the pipe segment is achieved by holding means 14, 15 for moving pipes 27, 28 toward the tool means 11 in the separation face. A separation cutting part also plays a role of forming the welding contact face.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
