Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide buttons having comfortable handling and being strong for clothing, by applying a proper amount of a melted synthetic resin to the entire rear surface of the button body which is made of pearl oyster shell, then, after the resin has once solidified in a state of being round by its surface tension, boring needle holes to complete the manufacturing process.
CONSTITUTION: Button body 1 is made of pearl oyster shell. A proper amount of a melted opaque epoxy resin is applied to the entire rear surface of the button body 1. Once the resin is solidified in a state of being round by its surface tension, forming the resin layer 2 on the rear surface of button body 1, then thread guide hole 3 is bored to complete the manufacturing process of the button. In this case, a transparent resin or any other kind of resin can be used.
