To provide a manufacturing method of cap for container, reducing and lowering the manufacturing time and the manufacturing cost by constructing a continuous manufacturing line, and a container cap manufactured by the above method.
The manufacturing method of the container cap takes the following steps. A sheet material to which a predetermined coating is previously applied is conveyed to a first press machine to form a projecting part to come to a semi-finished product of an outer cap by pressing. Pressing is performed sequentially by a second press machine and a third press machine to form a projecting part of the same shape as the outer cap in the sheet material. After the end of pressing the sheet material in the final press machine, the periphery of the outer cap is cut and further the peripheral edge is chamfered to remove cutting flaw. An inner cap made of resin is fitted to the inside of the thus formed outer cap. The inner cap is a resin member having a screw part engaged with a mouth part of the container, and surely fixed to the inside of the outer cap using molten resin. The finished container cap is subjected to quality inspection, and after no abnormality is confirmed, the cap is packed in a box and forwarded.
