Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a carbon nanotube capable of continuously efficiently producing a high-quality carbon nanotube.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for continuously producing a carbon nanotube while reusing a base material for producing a carbon nanotube obtained by forming a catalyst layer on a base material, which comprises: (A) a step of forming a catalyst layer on a catalyst layer formation surface on the base material; (B) a step of forming a carbon nanotube on the catalyst layer; (C) a step of peeling and recovering the carbon nanotube from the catalyst layer; and (D) a step of washing the catalyst layer from which the carbon nanotube is peeled, wherein the ratio (Gb/Ga) of the glossiness (Gb) of the catalyst layer before forming a carbon nanotube to the glossiness (Ga) of the catalyst layer formation surface is set to 0.70 or more.SELECTED DRAWING: None
