Abstract:

To provide a manufacturing method for a catalyst for ethylenic polymer production which is characterized in that an ethylenic polymer having excellent processability can be produced because two peaks on GPC measurement are observed and a manufacturing method for ethylenic polymer, further to provide an ethylenic polymer which is excellent in strength and processability because two peaks on GPC measurement are observed, the ethylenic polymer has a definite range of a number average molecular weight and a molecular distribution, the Mn when carrying out molecular weight fractionation has a fraction of not less than 100,000 of a definite ratio, and the constituent in which the Mn obtained by molecular weight fractionation is not less than 100,000 has long chain branches of not less than a definite amount.

The ethylenic polymer is produced using a catalyst for ethylenic polymer production obtained by combination of a transition metal compound, an organic modified clay having a specific structure, and an organic aluminum compound.
