Abstract:

To provide a method for manufacturing a catalyst for decomposing/removing ozone, in which the catalyst for decomposing/removing ozone, which has satisfactorily high-level performance of removing ozone, is manufactured efficiently and surely.

The method for manufacturing the catalyst for decomposing/removing ozone comprises the steps of: bringing a coating liquid comprising a catalyst component and a binder component into contact with a carrier to deposit the coating liquid on the carrier; heat-treating the coating liquid-deposited carrier to obtain such a catalyst that the catalyst component is deposited on the carrier while interposing the binder component between them; and disposing the obtained catalyst in a liquid phase and subjecting the disposed catalyst to ultrasonic treatment to obtain the catalyst for decomposing/removing ozone.
