Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a catalyst capable of manufacturing a catalyst which is a metallocene compound by using a ligand with a specific structure containing a fluorene skeleton at high purity and high yield.SOLUTION: A catalyst is manufactured by a method including: a process (I) for reacting a ligand with a specific structure containing a fluorene skeleton and an organic lithium compound with a specific structure of 2.2 to 3.8 mol equivalent based on the ligand; a process (II) for reacting a Ti compound, a Zr compound or an Hf compound having a halogen atom or the like of 1 mol equivalent or more based on the ligand with a product of the process (I); a process (III) for reacting a product of the process (II) and an organic lithium compound with a specific structure so that total of the amount of the organic lithium compound used in the process (I) and the amount of the organic lithium compound used in the process (III) is 4 mol equivalent or more based on the ligand.SELECTED DRAWING: None
