Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel manufacturing method of a silyl ether cellulose derivative suitable to an industrial process capable of suppressing deposition of product during a reaction in manufacturing the silyl ether cellulose derivative having a bulky organic silyl group with suppressed variation of substitution degree.SOLUTION: There is provided a manufacturing method of a silyl ether cellulose derivative having (1) a process for dissolving cellulose in an aprotic solvent (A) to obtain a cellulose solution, (2) a process for adding an organic silanization agent to the cellulose solution obtained in the process (1) to obtain a silyl ether cellulose derivative, in which both of cellulose and the silyl ether cellulose derivative are not deposited from a solvent during a reaction of the process (2). There is provided a manufacturing method of the silyl ether cellulose derivative in which the aprotic solvent (B) is added at silyl group substitution degree to cellulose of 1.0 to 1.5 in the process (2).SELECTED DRAWING: None
