Abstract:
To provide a manufacturing method of a cellulose resin excellent in mechanical property and thermoplasticity, and less in debris.SOLUTION: There is provided a manufacturing method of a cellulose resin in which a hydrogen atom of a hydroxy group of cellulose is substituted by a long chain component which is a linear saturated aliphatic acyl group having 14 or more carbon atom, and a short chain component which is an acyl group having 3 carbon atoms (propionyl group), including a process for reacting pulp having polymerization degree of 300 to 700 and dispersed in an organic solvent, propionyl chloride, and a long chain reaction agent which is acid chloride of long chain aliphatic acid having the long chain component in presence of an acid capture component under heating to acylate the hydroxyl group of the cellulose constituting the pulp, a process for filtering a reaction liquid obtained in the acylation process, and a process for separating acylated cellulose from the organic solvent and obtaining the same from the reaction liquid through the filtration process.SELECTED DRAWING: None
