Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize the supply of a fuel for manufacturing a cement clinker and to enhance the energy recovery yield.SOLUTION: In a facility furnished with a rotary furnace (1), a preheater (2), a clinker cooler (4), and a first heat exchanger (9), a raw ingredient is preheated by the preheater (2) while carbon dioxide is being removed therefrom, whereas the clinker from the rotary furnace (1) is cooled by the clinker cooler (4), whereas a first portion of hot air (secondary air) (5) generated within the clinker cooler (4) is used as a combustion air stream destined to the rotary furnace (1), whereas a second portion of the hot air (tertiary air) (6) generated within the clinker cooler (4) is guided and delivered, apart from the first portion, to a certain site of a fuel combustion facility, whereas a third portion of the hot air (excessive air) (7) generated within the clinker cooler (4) is guided and delivered to the first heat exchanger (9) for the purpose of recovering a power generation energy, whereas a second heat exchanger (10) collaborating with the tertiary air (6) is additionally furnished so as to heat a fluid received from a fluid circuit (12) common to the first heat exchanger (9) and second heat exchanger (10).
