To provide a method for producing ceramic excellent in high temperature strength and durability and moldable in such a manner that the amount of use of an organic binder is reduced.SOLUTION: Raw material powder comprising mechanochemical-treated ceramic powder and a ceramic sol are mixed and molded, and the same is solidified by sol polymerization reaction at a room temperature to produce a molded body, followed by sintering.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
