Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing coagulated latex particles having less fine particles and a high bulk density.SOLUTION: There are provided: a method for producing coagulated latex particles in which an emulsion polymerization latex containing a thickener composed of a nonionic water-soluble polymer is sprayed or added dropwise into a gas phase containing a coagulant solution in an aerosol state and droplets of the emulsion polymerization latex are added dropwise or charged into a water phase; and a method for producing coagulated latex particles in which an emulsion polymerization latex having a viscosity at 25°C of 10 mPa s or more is sprayed or added dropwise into a gas phase containing a coagulant solution in an aerosol state and droplets of the emulsion polymerization latex are added dropwise or charged into a water phase.SELECTED DRAWING: None
