To provide a method for manufacturing coke for a waste melting furnace which increases the calorific value by a calorific value-adjusting material and reduces the ash content, an apparatus for manufacturing the same, and a waste melting treatment method utilizing the coke for waste melting furnace.
The method for manufacturing coke for the waste melting furnace comprises carbonizing waste, adding a calorific value-adjusting material and a binder to the carbonized product to knead the resulting mixture, subjecting the kneaded mixture to press molding, and again carbonizing the molded product to increase the calorific value and to reduce the ash content. The apparatus for manufacturing the coke for the waste melting furnace comprises a carbonization furnace 1 which carbonizes a raw material, a kneader 6 which adds a caloric value-adjusting material and a binder to the carbonized product discharged from the carbonization furnace 1 to knead the resulting mixture, a molding machine 7 which subjects the kneaded product to press molding, and a carbonization furnace which carbonizes the molded product. The coke for the waste melting furnace alone produced in the above method is introduced into a waste melting furnace to burn the coke at high temperatures to melt the ash content in the coke for the waste melting furnace.
