Abstract:

To provide a manufacturing method for coke capable of producing highly strong coke by reducing the coarse pore amount remaining in the coke without depending on caking coal.

The manufacturing method for coke includes a step of carbonization of coal while applying vibration thereto in producing coke by carbonization of coal placed in a heating space. The vibration is applied when the coal is in a softened molten state region. The softened molten state region of the coal is in a 350-550°C temperature region. The vibration frequency is preferably at least 50 to 50,000 Hz.
