Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain compound material flywheel with stable intensity and vibration characteristic by concentrically laminating and joining the compound material cylindrical bodies which are tapered with different diameters to form the disk body which is fixed on the rotating shaft. CONSTITUTION:The disk body 2 is formed by concentrically laminating and joining the compound cylindrical bodies 3 which are tapered with different diameters, and the disk body 2 is fitted into the hub part 1a of the rotating shaft 1 and is fixed on the rotating shaft 1 by the frange 1b and the frange 5. To manufacture such compound material flywheel, at first, the cylindrical body 6 of the desireble thickness is formed on the center shaft 7a and hardened. Then, the cylindrical body 6 removed from the center shaft 7a is cut crosswise into multi number of tapered compound material cylindrical bodies. At last, one of the cylindrical bodies is cooled while the other is heated, and they are joined and adhered by the adhesive.
