Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately obtain the circularity of a crank pin hole when assembling a connecting rod to a crank shaft.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a connecting rod comprises: a process for separating a cap part 1a from a rod body part 1b by fracturing the cap part by a fracture part 5 arranged at an edge of a large end hole 2a; and a joining process for joining the cap part 1a to the rod body part 1b. In the joining process, an outside jig 30 is arranged at the outside of a large end part 2, an inside jig 20 is arranged at the inside of the large end hole 2a, and the large end part 2 is fixed. In fixing process, the outside jig 30 is arranged so that a clearance 35 is formed between the fracture part 5 and the outside jig 30, the inside jig 20 is arranged so that a thrust clearance 25 is formed at an upper part of the fracturing part 5, and the large end part 2 is fixed.
