PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a control switch for an automatic transmission, which enables correcting positions of connector terminals simultaneously with a movement of a side core.
SOLUTION: The side core 29A is opened and an upper metal mold 29B is opened. First shaped member 3A is inserted between the upper metal mold 29B and an under metal mold 29C and is set on the under metal mold 29C. A crank web shaped lead portion 25 of the connector terminal 16 is supported on a slide core 29D, in order to prevent deforming the lead portion 25, when the side core 29A is closed. Then, the side core 29A is moved from a prescribed position to be closed. The connector terminals 16 and 16 are inserted into insertion holes 30 and 30 respectively, when the side core 29A is closed. Since diameters near both the openings of the insertion holes 30 and 30 are expanded in the opening directions, the connector terminals 16 and 16 can be guided into the insertion holes 30 and 30, even if the connector terminals 16 and 16 are bent slightly. At that time, correcting the positions of the connector terminals 16 and 16 is carried out, by having the foot portions of the connector terminals 16 and 16 made flexible.
