Abstract:
To provide a method for simply manufacturing a copolymer of a diallyldialkylammonium hydroxide with maleic acid in a high yield.
The manufacturing method for the copolymer of the diallyldialkylammonium hydroxide with maleic acid includes treating a copolymer containing a diallyldialkylammonium chloride constituting unit and a maleic acid constituting unit with a strongly basic hydroxide and subjecting the thus-obtained mixture to ion exchange membrane electrodialysis.
