Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder liner including a necessary structural function through a thin anisotropic heat conduction film is used.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a cylinder liner having high heat conductivity in a cylinder axial direction and low heat conductivity in a cylinder radial direction, includes a surface treatment process (S2), a shaping process (S3), and a joining process (S4). In the surface treatment process (S2), a plating layer of high heat conductive metal is formed on at least one face of a sheet material composed of an anisotropic heat conduction film having high heat conductivity in a surface direction and low heat conductivity in a thickness direction. In the shaping process (S3), the sheet material after the surface treatment is wound into the cylindrical shape to shape a cylindrical molding. In the joining process (S4), a wound interlayer of the cylindrical molding is joined by, for example, thermally melting the plating layer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
