Abstract:
To provide a manufacturing method for a decorative article of an unburnable wood and a decorative article as well as a manufacturing method for a surface-treated article of an unburnable wood and a surface-treated article, which can improve drying performance and improve productivity.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method for a surface-treated article of an unburnable wood includes: a surface-treatment liquid application step of applying surface-treatment liquid including at least water, a color material fixing agent and a surface tension adjuster to an unburnable wood W made of a wood subjected to fireproofing; and a printing step of performing inkjet printing to the unburnable wood W applied with the surface-treatment liquid. In the surface treatment liquid application step, a density of the surface treatment liquid to be applied to a surface of a core material portion W1 of the unburnable wood W is set to be lower than a density of a surface treatment liquid to be applied to a surface of a sapwood part W2 around the core material portion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
