To provide a manufacturing method of a decorative building panel capable of improving color development of an ink jet printing layer by a simple process.
An enamel coating film 2 of an aqueous enamel paint on a surface of a first substrate material 1, a surface of this aqueous enamel paint coating layer 2 is subjected to frame treatment and then an ink jet printing layer is formed by an aqueous ink. By the frame treatment, a surface of the aqueous enamel paint coating layer 2 is oxidized whereby it becomes a C-OH bonding so as to make it hydrophilic tentatively, and compatibility between the aqueous ink and a surface of the aqueous enamel paint coating layer 2 becomes high by conducting ink jet printing with an aqueous ink on a surface of the enamel paint coating layer 2 after the frame treatment whereby generation of peeling off can be suppressed.
