To provide the manufacturing method of a decorative laminate, with which manufacturing efficiency can be improved and, at the same time, an island portion surrounded by a decorating annular hole part can be easily prevented from falling out of a substrate.
A vehicular instrument panel 11 as a decorative laminate is equipped with the substrate made of a metallic material, a synthetic resin material unifying film 19 pasted to the rear surface of the substrate and the decorating annular hole part 16b piercingly formed on the substrate 12. The island portion 20 surrounded by the decorating annular hole part 16b is integrated with the substrate 12 by the integrating film 19. After the integrating film 19 is pasted to the rear surface of the substrate, a masking layer for etching is provided on the front surface of the substrate at the portion except the decorating annular hole part 16a. By removing the substrate 12 at the portion except the masking layer for etching through etching, the decorating annular hole part 16b is formed. Next, by removing the masking layer for etching, the vehicular instrument panel 11 is manufactured.
