Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a hydroforming product having a desirable thickness distribution by preventing local thickening of only a portion near a pipe end part and the buckling near the pipe end part when thickening the pipe end part by performing shaft pushing during forming in hydroforming of a steel pipe.SOLUTION: A device 10 for manufacturing hollow steel hydroforming products 11, 12 in which a prescribed region in the axial direction on an end part is thickened by performing hydroforming to a steel pipe 1 is provided. A shaft pushing tool 7 which is provided with a core metal 8 having an outer surface capable of being brought into contact with an inner surface of a pipe end part 1b of the steel pipe 1 upon completion of the forming and is brought into contact with an axial direction end part 1a of the steel pipe 1 and can seal an inner part of the steel pipe 1 and an outer mold 2 having an inner surface which can be brought into contact with outer surfaces of the hydroforming products 11, 12 are provided.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
