Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of diallylamine polymer containing no halogen and having less corrosiveness, capable of reducing metal corrosion in diallylamine hydrochloride polymer.SOLUTION: In a manufacturing method of diallylamine acetate, diallylamine acetate is polymerized in water or a polar solvent under a presence of an organic acid addition salt of a specific cyclic amidine azo compound, as a radical polymerization initiator. A non-halogen diallylamine acetate polymer solution is obtained by the polymerization. The diallylamine acetate has a monomer concentration of 15-60 mass%.
