Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a die for manufacturing an optical member that can be cut with high precision by suppressing influence of temperature variation and periodical minute vibration of a cutting tool.SOLUTION: The manufacturing method for a die for manufacturing an optical member, when forming a recessed pattern in which groove parts 1a exist separately via flat parts 1b, performs a process for cutting multiple times the pattern at a depth b from the surface of the die, during cutting the pattern while changing the position of a cutting tool 2 at a depth a in a direction orthogonal to a longitudinal direction of the recessed pattern from the surface of the die toward a constant direction (a>b>0).
