To provide a manufacturing method of a display device capable of improving light emission characteristics by forming a uniform transfer layer.
A coating film 15 is formed by coating an organic material and coating liquid including a solvent with a boiling point of 140°C or more and 230°C or less on a base material 11. Then, the transfer layer 14 is formed by vacuum drying of the coating film 15 and after that, the transfer layer 14 is heat-treated. A part of the solvent contained in the coating film 15 is removed by vacuum drying of the transfer layer 15, making a degree of mixing of the solvent in the transfer layer 14 low. This can suppress generation of poor drying including generation of holes at the time of the transfer layer 14 heat-treatment.
