To provide a manufacturing method for a double sided toothed belt which shortens a time for vulcanization and molding and reduces the number of processes.
The manufacturing method for the double sided toothed belt comprises an outer teeth molding process wherein a tubular canvas 10 with outer teeth having the outer teeth 11 positioned at prescribed intervals on the outside thereof is prepared, an inner teeth molding process wherein a tubular canvas 7, a core wire 12 and a rubber layer 13 are wound on a grooved tool 1 and then half-vulcanized by heating, an outer teeth regulating process wherein the tubular canvas 10 with the outer teeth is put on the core wire 12 covered with the rubber layer and then a cap material 20 having groove parts at prescribed intervals in the inner peripheral surface is so provided as to surround the upper and lower end areas of the tool 1 and wherein the groove parts 22 of the cap material 20 are fitted to the outer teeth 11 to regulate the position of the outer teeth 11 and then the cap material 20 is removed, and a final finishing process wherein a double sided toothed belt sleeve pulled out from the grooved tool 1 after vulcanization is cut at a prescribed width, so as to finish the double sided toothed belt.
