Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust core which has reduced both eddy current loss and hysteresis loss, and has high strength and low iron loss.SOLUTION: The dust core in which a powder particle forming a magnetic core is coated with an SiOphase and an FeOphase is formed on an SiOlayer, is obtained by: pressure molding an iron-based magnetic metal powder coated with a silicon resin; heating the obtained molded body at a low temperature of lower than 600°C in water vapor; and furthermore, annealing the molded body at a temperature of 600°C or higher in a non-oxidizing atmosphere.
