To enhance an adhesion property between a core wire exposure part and a core wire connection body.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of an electric wire with a terminal, comprises: an expansion part formation step of forming at least an expansion part 114 expanded in one direction in an orthogonal direction relative to a shaft line direction of a core wire exposure part 111a in the core wire exposure part formed by a plurality of element wires 113 of an electric wire 110; and a crimp step of fastening and crimping of a core wire connection body 123 to a compressed part 111a1 of the core wire exposure part in an inner space of the core wire connection body composed of a pair of barrel pieces 132 and 132 projected from a bottom wall and both ends of the bottom wall while dropping an upper mold 32 toward the core wire connection body of a terminal metal fitting 120 mounted on a lower mold 31 by the bottom wall 131. In the expansion part formation step, an expansion part firstly making a compression force from the bottom wall act while arranging it opposite to an inner wall surface of the bottom wall during fastening and crimping at a center part in a shaft line direction of the compressed part. In the crimp step, the expansion part is crushed with a pressure during fastening and crimping to fasten and crimp the core wire connection body over the compressed part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
