Abstract:

To provide a manufacturing method of an electro-optical device capable of improving film formability when a film is formed on a plastic film substrate; to provide an electro-optical device manufactured by the manufacturing method of an electro-optical device; to provide electronic equipment with an electro-optical device mounted; and to provide a droplet discharge device.

This manufacturing method of an electro-optical device comprises: a tentative bonding process S1 for tentatively bonding the plastic film substrate 3 to a glass substrate 1 by an adhesive material 2; an EL substrate manufacturing process S2 for executing a manufacturing process of an EL substrate to the plastic film substrate 3 by keeping the state where the plastic film substrate 3 is bonded to the glass substrate 1; and a separation process S3 for separating the film substrate 3 from the glass substrate 1 after the EL substrate is manufactured by using the film substrate 3 as a base body.
