Abstract:

PURPOSE: To make it possible to manufacture an electrodepositing grindstone with various shapes suited to polishing performance by adding hydrophilic groups to an abrasive grain such as diamond and cubic boron nitride by a cation system surface-active agent to facilitate dispersion in an electroplating bath.

CONSTITUTION: The inner and outer diameters of sheet metal having rigidity like stainless, etc., are firstly blanked by photoetching processing, the pattern of a grindstone is designed, and a printing plate is manufactured. Then, resist ink having a prescribed shape is sibjected to screen printing. Further, electrodegreasing and pickling are performed in the same way as a usual plating pretreatment. Then, after plating ground nickel, pickling is performed at once, and then composite plating is performed. But, at that time, about 1g abrasive grains such as diamond the particle diameter of 3W30μ are put into an about 50cc cation system-surface active agent, and are agitated for several hours to make the abrasive grain hydrophilic.
