Abstract:
To provide an electrodeposition drum for forming a foil and a method for manufacturing the same, the electrodeposition drum having good adhesion between an inner drum and an outer skin, and ensuring good and uniform conductivity.SOLUTION: By applying a conductive paste containing particles having higher electrical conductivity than the material of the outer skin, a sponge-like conductive layer having a plurality of pores is formed on the inner peripheral surface of the outer skin. Then the inner drum and the outer skin are shrink-fitted. The sponge-like conductive layer deforms according to the unevenness of the outer skin, and the space between the inner peripheral surface of the outer skin and the outer peripheral surface of the inner drum are filled with the conductive layer without any gap. Since there is no gap, it is possible to obtain the electrodeposition drum for manufacturing a foil having high adhesion, uniform conductivity, and good electrical conductivity.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
