Abstract:

To provide a manufacturing method of an electromagnetic wave shielding film capable of manufacturing an electromagnetic wave shielding film inexpensively with high productivity using a silver salt system, the film having transparency higher than that in a photolithography system even with the same resistance.

In a manufacturing method of an electromagnetic wave shielding film, a coating solution containing metal salt particulates is uniformly applied and dried on a continuously running supporter. A coated layer is subsequently and continuously subjected to mesh pattern exposure using a mask and is thereafter subjected to development processing to form a metal mesh pattern on a support. Then, physical development processing and/or plating processing are performed to impart conductivity to a metal mesh pattern so that an electromagnetic shielding function becomes available. In the method, mesh pattern exposure onto the coated layer on the conveyed substrate is performed such that adjacent mesh patterns are partly overlapped.
