Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an uneasy electron emission by using an electron emitting element having a surface terminal, while manufacturing the element by a simple method.
SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the electron emitting element comprises a first process of preparing a substrate on the surface of which, a first conductive film and a second conductive film are arranged with a certain distance, a second process applying an termination treatment to the first conductive film and the second conductive film by hydrogen through carbon, and a third process removing hydrogen terminating the second conductive film.
