To provide a method for stably manufacturing an inorganic spherical body having substantially uniform particle size with high productivity, and an apparatus therefor.
This method for manufacturing the inorganic spherical body comprises a step to form a water-in-oil emulsion by extruding an aqueous liquid containing an inorganic compound through a porous membrane into an organic liquid flowing in a flow passage in a laminar flow state at 0.001-2 m/s flow rate and a step to solidify the inorganic compound-containing aqueous liquid in the water-in-oil emulsion. The pressure loss of the organic liquid flowing from the most upstream point of the flow passage to the most downstream point is preferably 10-5,000 Pa.
