To provide a method for manufacturing a thermoelectric transducer and a device which can joint a thermoelectric transducing material to an electrode stably and reliably without overheating the thermoelectric transducing material even if the resistance of the thermoelectric transducing material itself is greater than interface resistance between the thermoelectric transducing material and the electrode depending on a shape or a material of the thermoelectric transducing material, and can obtain the thermoelectric transducer having a stable thermoelectric characteristic as a result.
An insulating layer 6 is formed on an inner face of a pressing member 2 formed of conductive materials which are arranged oppositely, electrodes 4 are arranged on an inner face of the insulating layer 6, a plurality of thermoelectric transducing materials 7 are arranged between the electrodes 4, and the pressing member 2 is energized to heat the pressing member 2, and concurrently the pressing member 2 is pressed into an inside direction to joint the electrodes 4 and thermoelectric transducing materials 3.
