Abstract:
To provide an expand lattice body excellent in dimensional accuracy of an electrode plate by restraining unevenness of expand mesh unfolding dimension caused by wrinkles generated on expand mesh when applying reciprocal expanding work.
The expand lattice body for lead-acid storage battery is manufactured by forming slits on a continuous belt-shaped metal sheet 100 by a plurality of dice blades 105 which moves reciprocally, and extending it to form an expand mesh 103. On the metal sheet 100, at least a part of a plane part 102 on which slits are not formed and continued to the expand mesh 103, is pressed in thickness direction so as to reduce the thickness of the plane part 102.
