Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and accurately set clearance widths of a thrust bearing clearances, in a fluid dynamic pressure bearing device in which the thrust bearing clearances are formed at one end face and the other end face of a bearing member which is fixed to an external periphery of a shaft member.SOLUTION: A clearance 14 in an axial direction having a clearance width δ equal to a total amount of clearance widths of two thrust bearing clearances is formed between a second thrust bearing face C of a bearing member 22 fixed to an external periphery of a shaft member 21 and a seal member 9, after that, the shaft member 21, the bearing member 22 and the seal member 9 are relatively moved to a housing 7 while maintaining the clearance width δ of the clearance 14 in the axial direction, and the seal member 9 is fixed to the housing 7 when a first thrust bearing face B of the bearing member 22 contacts with a bottom 7b of the housing 7.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
