To provide a manufacturing method of a fluorescent lamp in which a phosphor layer having an aperture can be formed rapidly and uniformly.
A phosphor discharging nozzle 11 is relatively inserted into the thin and long translucent tube 1a made of dielectric substance and, while the conductive body 12 is installed on the outside of the translucent tube 1a except for the aperture 4 forming part, a phosphor paint is electrostatic painted on the inner face of the translucent tube and, further, by fixing, a phosphor layer is formed. An inorganic binder is added in the phosphor paint mixed with the phosphor, and by firing the translucent tube, at least a part of the inorganic binder is melted and adhered to the phosphor particles and can fix them. The conductive body 12 can be a size ranging to nearly whole of the phosphor forming part and be synchronized with the translucent tube 1a, or can be short sized and synchronized with the phosphor discharging nozzle 11.
