To achieve improvement in exhaust efficiency in manufacturing a fluorescent tube.
At least one piece of glass beads 13 and 14 installed at an electrode structure 20 is molded so that the cross-section of these glass beads may become elliptical shape by making the width direction in which two lead wires 11 and 12 are arranged in paralle a major axis.
