Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide new ice confectionery which contains fruits or vegetables.SOLUTION: Shaved ice which contains fruits or vegetables is manufactured by the following manufacturing method. Unprocessed or specifically preprocessed fruits or vegetables are fed into the hollow part of a container having a required height and a prescribed shape in a plane view. Water to which a specified seasoning is added on an as-needed basis is fed into the hollow part of the container charged with the fruits or vegetables, such that the fruits or vegetables are completely immersed in the water. The immersion state is frozen so as to obtain an ice lump having a specified shape which contains the fruits or vegetables. The obtained ice lump is cut on an as-needed basis and then shaved with an ice shaving machine so as to obtain the shaved ice which contains fruits or vegetables.
